Let’s Begin

Financial planning is all about you— It encompasses your life and the things that are most important to you. Our first step in the financial planning process is discovery. Tell us about your family, your goals, and your plans. We want to know more about you.

Then we will talk about your financial situation. We will look at your accounts and talk about any retirement income you expect to have. Additionally, we will want to know about your assets—your home and any other properties you may own.

Afterwards, we will talk about risk. What happens if your portfolio has a dramatic fluctuation? How would you react? We can show you how different levels of risk may affect your portfolio. Together, we will determine how much risk is appropriate for you.

Building Your Plan

Our next step is analysis and recommendations. Together we use MoneyGuidePro to create your financial plan. We can show you what it would look like if you retired earlier, spent more on travel, or decided to make a large purchase. Your financial plan is interactive and will change as you do.

After creating your financial plan together, we can make recommendations. We’ll talk about our investment management services and how we can bring to life what we discussed in your plan.

Next, we will begin implementing your strategy. We will work with you to transfer your accounts. We will implement the investing strategy we developed together and make decisions based on your financial goals.

The final step in the financial planning process is monitoring and reviewing. We provide online access to your accounts and regular reports. You will have 24/7 access to your accounts, and we always encourage you to come to us with any questions.

The Next Steps

On our end, we will manage your accounts following the guidelines and strategy we set together. We will monitor your investments and cash levels. When your life changes, so too will your financial plan. We ask that you keep us informed of changes in your life, as they may change our suggestions or impact the way we invest your accounts.

Together, we will decide how often to meet. While some prefer to meet on a quarterly or annual basis, other choose to meet as life changes. We offer office meetings, phone meetings, and virtual meetings to make your life easier.
